End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suited for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an excellent option for applications that need regular on and off access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus used by various companies who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in a way which is safe and efficient.
All standard reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move up and down. The forks also have a hydraulic system which allows the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
