Ever since 1976, Taylor Machine Works has built, engineered and marketed empty container handlers. The "Big Red" line of empty handlers reflects the knowledge and experience gained during those years. The Taylor empty handlers are referred to as "All American" units because they are engineered and built in the USA. Taylor is always on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The corporation strives to maintain their devotion of designing and manufacturing the most productive and best, most reliable container handling machines around, anywhere in the globe.
The company's empty container handlers are outfitted with a wide range of masts and attachments so as to better meet your specific requirements. The following is a list of models with their basic attachment and mast.
The TECDS-150H Attachment expands to be able to top pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers. Any containers measuring over 40 feet need to have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has 4 corner twist-locks too, electrical signal lights in the cab, hydraulic slewing and 2 work lights.
The ELME attachment is designed to handle 2 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time. This simultaneous ability could be done with the containers stacked on top of each other. Additionally, this kind of attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks that insert into the side apertures of the upper containers bottom corner castings and the lower container's top corner castings. The highly specialized design of the twist-locks enables block stacking to be accomplished.

Several of the standard engine features include electronic maintenance and diagnostic monitor, transmission/engine protection, fuel/water separator, improved fuel economy and less overall emissions. Additionally, the available transmission for all 3 models is a fully reversing, 3-speed, non-modulated, power-shift transmission. It is available complete with remote shift control and inching capacity.
These particular units have been engineered specially to work in extreme climate in the harshest setting in the world. These units are able to function with ease through deep snow, rough terrain and thick mud. Having the ability to rely on a dependable equipment when you are working in lousy weather conditions and in the middle of nowhere is certainly an essential investment for your company.
