Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Motion or back-Up Alarms:
Back-up alarms and motion alarms are audio device accessories that generate enough sound so that the sound is heard overtop the sounds produced from the forklift itself.
The sound has to be readily discernible from other audible devices or noises within the work environment. Sound should be readily distinguishable from other sound or audible devices within the work area. The audible device could end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; thus, care needs to be taken.
Determine the direction and distance the sound of the audible device is made harder because of the use of hearing protection. Audible devices could sometimes get deactivated from both workers and operators since they could find them irritating. In addition, audible devices can also be objectionable to nearby residents.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: To be able protect the operator from the elements, enclosed operator cabs made of tempered glass are used to help prevent injuries and lessen other problems. Additionally, these cabs feature an emergency exit via window removal. The levels of noise are reduced at the operator's ear because of additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For each particular application, the operator could choose the performance need. In addition, it allows a supervisor to set the utmost performance of a model for an operator who is just starting to learn. Being able to lessen and adjust the model's utmost performance allows a new operator to learn the operating characteristics of the machinery in a controlled setting.
Impact Monitor: The impact monitor deactivates the model and when this occurs, it requires a supervisor to re-enable and override the model. This encourages the operator to be certain to manage the machinery in a more controlled way.
Panoramic and Dual Rear View Mirrors: These mirrors serve as an aid to the operator in observing the operating environment behind the truck as well as the tail swing area.
