The compact size of the Genie AWP Super Series gives the user the ability to work with the machinery as close as 8 centimetres from a wall. The ability to work this closely makes tasks easier without having to use more than one equipment to perform one task. Being the smallest within the business, the effectively designed X-pattern outrigger footprint is a popular feature which allows the user to operate near the job. These small, lightweight machinery could fit through standard-sized doorways. Equipment units up to 9.1 meters, which are the AWP-40S and the AWP-36S units, do not need to be tilted back when going through standard-sized doorways because of the tilt-back frame design. The six-point wheel and caster rocker base system can easily be maneuvered over debris, around corners, and over bumpy thresholds. Units are loaded easily onto trucks, even pickup trucks, due to the lightweight design of the machines and the exclusive rear mast pivot bar. For added versatility and ease of transport, there is an overhead crane attachment point, tie-down attachment points, forklift pockets, and outrigger storage included.
User controls are easily accessed and user-friendly. Controls on the equipment consist of a dual-activated up/down switch, a locking key switch, a low battery indicator and outrigger setup confirmation lights. In the case of a power failure there is an auxiliary platform-lowering feature which allows for descent. This specific feature is standard on all DC and AC units.
The mast system on the Genie is the most durable system around. This patented system is made from aircraft-quality aluminum giving the operator peace of mind and comfort through all working heights. Some units have platforms with a ground fault interrupter receptacle for portable use of power tools.
The many standard features available on each unit are designed to fit the user's requirements and offer the ability to increase safety and efficiency for all of your application needs.
