Kinds
Clark makes an array of forklift trucks such as pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisle. The different kinds vary when it comes to the way they operate. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts used for construction and agriculture are powered by an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed to be utilized inside warehouses and other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies according to the type. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, which depends on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion kinds are suggested. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 36 volt or 48 volt. The internal combustible engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC models have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame includes the fuel tank, engine, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
