The S-boom telescopic booms manufactured by Genie have been outfitted with a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access tight areas during construction and industrial jobs. They are also recognized for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great traction and drive speed. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and could stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. 360° continuous rotating turntables provide easy, quick positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 model comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were previously inaccessible by standard jibs. The Z-80/60 model's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature enables up and over reaching tasks to be done with zero front arm swing.
Genie also provides the Fast Mast system which allows for valuable time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms have to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be raised fully at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time required for users to ascend and descend, increasing effectiveness and production.
