Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts offer height and versatility. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the person using it to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Standard forklifts could not move the load away from and towards the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in both construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform which is designed to hoist workers is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a chain or strap is used to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
